Spinach Bean Soup

Spinach Bean Soup

Cooking time: 6 hours
8 cups fresh spinach, chopped
1 tsp dried basil, crushed
1 tsp garlic, minced
½ cup onion, chopped
½ cup of brown rice
14.5 oz can Great Northern beans, rinsed and drained
14.5 oz can tomato puree
5 ½ cups vegetable broth
¼ tsp pepper
¼ tsp salt
Add all ingredients except spinach into the slow cooker and stir well.
Cover slow cooker with lid and cook on low for 6 hours.
Add spinach and stir well.
Serve and enjoy.
