20 ounces canned sardines, drained and mashed well
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons dill, chopped
1 yellow onion, chopped
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
1 egg, whisked
A pinch of salt and black pepper
2 tablespoons lemon juice
5 tablespoons olive oil
In a bowl, combine the sardines with the garlic, dill and the rest of the
ingredients except the oil, stir well and shape medium cakes out of this mix.
Heat up a pan with the oil over medium-high heat, add the fish cakes, cook
for 5 minutes on each side.
Serve the cakes with a side salad.
