8 oz beef liver
½ onion, peeled
½ carrot, peeled
½ teaspoon peppercorns
1 bay leaf
½ teaspoon salt
1/3 cup water
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
Chop the beef liver and put it in the saucepan.
Add onion, carrot, peppercorns, bay leaf, salt, and ground black pepper.
Add water and close the lid.
Boil the beef liver for 25 minutes or until all ingredients are tender.
Transfer the cooked mixture in the blender and blend it until smooth.
Then place the cooked pate in the serving bowl and flatten the surface of it.
Refrigerate the pate for 20-30 minutes before serving.
